Description

12 km for 3 hours of Rafting then Kayak on the Ubaye river .

This formula is practiced in the South East of France between Barcelonnette and  the Lake of Serre-Ponçon in the mountains of the Alpes de Haute-Provence.

Guided descents : for maximum pleasure in complete safety. 

Progress

We look forward to seeing you at our base in the Ubaye Valley.

You will be given a complete set of equipment: booties + neoprene suit + helmet + lifejacket. 

A state-qualified guide will give you a full briefing of technical and safety instructions.  

We start with the rafting course: "Les Ex infrans du haut", then we change boats for the Kayak-Air or Hot-dog for the descent of the classic part of the Ubaye.

Good to know

Rafting down the Ubaye requires you to be in good physical shape, to be able to swim 25 m and to immerse yourself.

Bring a swimsuit, a towel and if necessary a cord to attach your glasses.  

Tapering rates : from 8 ps (- 2 €/ps), from 14 ps (- 4 €/ps).  

On site : bars (draught beers), snack bar (Italian specialities) and restaurant (pizzas and local salads).  

Accomodation : Camping River (on site) and Gîte de Méolans (2.5 km away).  

For those who stay ashore : Lac du Lauzet (handicapped accessible, supervised swimming, SUP rentals).
