"Kayak Sport" Martinet/ Lauzet

8 km to cover for a minimum of 2 hours of descent. Course reserved for experienced paddlers or people ready for action.

You embark for the "descent of the Ubaye" by Kayak-air or Hot-dog directly from our base for a course rich in sensations.

Alone or in pairs, try to find the most beautiful lines in the rapids so as not to capsize or find yourself stranded on a rock.

We will meet you at our base in the Ubaye valley located in the Alpes de Haute-Provence between Barcelonnette and the Serre Ponçon lake.

You will be fully equipped by a state-qualified guide who will give you a full briefing of technical and safety instructions before accompanying you on the craziest of descents!

The Kayak-air descent on the Ubaye requires you to be in good physical shape, to be able to swim 25 m and to immerse yourself.

Bring a swimsuit, a towel and if necessary a lanyard for your glasses.   

Tapering rates : from 8 ps (- 2 €/ps), from 14 ps (- 4 €/ps).   

On site : bars (draught beers), snack bar (Italian specialities) and restaurant (pizzas and local salads).   

Accomodation : Camping River (on site) and Gîte de Méolans (2.5 km away).   

For those who stay ashore : Lac du Lauzet (accessible PRM, supervised swimming, SUP rentals).
